Onboard 21 coach long 01010 Madgaon Mumbai Cst Holiday Special, we enter, accelerate and speed 6.5km long Karbude Tunnel between Bhoke and Ukshi railway stations of Konkan Railway, India. Sometimes, the lights looked hazy because the locomotive KYN WDDG-3A pulling my train was puffing out smoke. My coach was 16th from the loco. Video was taken on 16/01/2013 at 20:30hrs and it has taken 7mins 30 seconds to come out of this tunnel. The tunnel from inside will look the same whether you travel at night or in daylight. Also this is the longest video I have taken. Karbude Tunnel is the longest tunnel in India and one of Asia's longest railway tunnel. Konkan Railway (KR) has a total of 92 tunnels and 179 major bridges. Karbude tunnel is the biggest of all. When I passed through this, I was shocked seeing it's size. I have to give a big salute to the maestro, Mr. E. Sreedharan for evolving KR.
