Due to extreme heavy rains on 02/08/2016 early morning, tracks near Vapi railway station were washed out thereby delaying trains by more than 3 to even 8hrs late. Every train which includes crack superfast trains and premium trains like Rajdhani Express, Duronto Express, in both up and down directions were taking unscheduled halt at Udvada. On 02/08/2016, at nearly 07:45am, 22904 Bhuj Bandra Terminus Ac Superfast Express with BRC WAP-5# 30059 with Amul ad slowly arrives and comes to an unscheduled halt at rural Udvada railway station in Gujarat. It was running more than 5hrs late and it reached Bandra Terminus even more late. This train usually skips Udvada at around 02:30am and its top speed is 120kph on this route. It was for a change great seeing this train in daylight and I really loved capturing slow arrival and unscheduled halt of colourful superfast train in mild rains.
