town connection MSC Opera | Portuguese Islands | FPV Moving Ship 1st in SA

Firstly the Trip on the MSC Opera is something everyone must experience. It was Amazing! So amazing in fact IO had to take the whole family a few months later. These Flights with my RC-Multi Rotor "drone" was one of the most technically challanging nad enjoyable flights I have ever done.

Conditions: Wind 13km from the front to the back of ship. The Ship was traveling at 15km so the total wind was 27km per hour. Since the flight controller Naza V2 needs a static point to lock for Home, this was not possible, so no GPS features at all. I flew the flight around the ship when she was in motion in manual mode. Matched the speed of the ship and wind and go the shots of a life time!

As far as our research shows at the time for this shoot, no one had ever done it, especially in SA!
